To become a vital Pre and Primary English Medium School that will effectively and efficiently provide quality education that will significantly contribute to pupils’ further learning.

In order to achieve the fore mentioned school Vision, mission and objectives it is very paramount for a school to have a well-equipped learning and teaching environment for pupils and teachers consecutively as the basis for executing well the entire process of teaching and learning, that’s why the management has already prepared the pre-requisite for a proper learning environment.

Lumeke Pre and Primary English Medium School is a new school in Mwanza Region located in Buhongwa Ward near Bulale Centre about 1.2 Km from Buhongwa stand. It was officially opened in January 2020. The school started with Pre-primary school and class one with the objectives of creating a culture of English speaking, confidence, desire to learn and a sense of awareness among children that study here at Lumeke.

The school is using the curriculum of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The school reading program is centered on well stocked library and experienced teachers for lower classes and primary. And we go further to come up with creative ways of passing this information to the children such as morning speeches, role plays, use of actual objects as teaching examples and with plans to uses medias such as TV as an adaptation to the new learning techniques.

All this is to ensure that there is no gap in learning among the students thus minimizing the needs to have tuition, remember tuition in Tanzania has been used to fill in the gaps that has been left out by schools in their syllabus coverage.

This is a day school with enough school buses to transport students to and from the school each day but with plans of becoming a boarding school in the near by years. The working staff at Lumeke is loving and caring to the children as this brings out the best in children behavior and attitude of the students towards each other, authoritative figures and the community as a whole.
